I haven’t been able to write anything for the past week and a half because my computer hasn’t been working. Whenever I turned it on, it would refuse to start windows, instead showing a blue screen and the message, “Please wait”. I waited for over two hours but nothing would happen. I took it to a local computer store to be looked at, but they had along backlog of repair jobs so they were not even able to run any diagnostics on my computer until yesterday. There wasn’t anything seriously wrong and I finally got it back today. Too bad I feel too tired to write anything just now.
It has been more of an inconvenience not being able to blog, than I thought it would and I am glad I will be able to resume.
I see that I have not written anything since Tuesday. I apologize for this but between work and helping my mother-in-law move, I have been busy. It is not that I have had to move a lot of furniture, she hired professional movers for that, and my wife has worked much harder than I have at moving things, and so she is even more exhausted than I am. The fact is that being the man, I have been pressed into service whenever something especially heavy has needed to be moved. The cumulative effect of that and work has been tiring.
It is odd that physical work leads to mental exhaustion. I have a long list of things that I would have like to have written and typing on a keyboard takes very little energy. But, this week, I have found myself on my computer unable to do anything except play video games. I hope I am getting over it. Anyway, I am on vacation next week.
I changed the theme of this blog from Notepad to NotesIL. I was feeling a bit cramped with Notepad and I hope the new theme will allow me more options.
I changed the theme again, to twenty ten.
I noticed that one of my referrers is from dangeroustalk.net, which is an Atheist/Progressive site. They had a link to my post Ban the Bible. I hope nobody is terribly disappointed if they read my post and discover that I am not, in fact, for banning the Bible.
