From Yahoo News: Israel’s second largest cell phone service provider is introducing a cell phone with an interface in Yiddish. To be honest, I didn’t realize that there were any living speakers of Yiddish left. Apparently there are enough elderly Yiddish speakers and ultra-Orthodox to provide a market. These phones are “kosher” in that they do not have internet access or text messaging in order protect the user from temptation.
